DRESS CODE
A dress code helps dancers succeed by allowing instructors to clearly see body alignment and technique. Baggy or inappropriate clothing can hide poor habits and prevent effective corrections. A consistent dress code also builds discipline and helps students mentally shift into “dance mode.”
At Attitudes, we recognize that dance is an art form and encourage students to express themselves through color and style—while still following these guidelines:
Ballet Classes
-
Leotards and tights are preferred.
-
Skirts, skorts, tutus, and booty shorts are allowed.
Jazz, Tap, and Other Classes
-
Jazz pants, skirts, or booty shorts are permitted.
-
No baggy clothing or everyday school attire.
General Guidelines
-
Label all shoes and dancewear to avoid lost items.
-
If switching shoes during class, bring a dance bag to prevent mix-ups.
-
If unable to arrive in dress code, please bring dance clothes to change in the studio restroom.
❌ Not Allowed:
-
Jeans or jean shorts
-
Dresses
-
